We are pleased to announce the release of the latest versions of the Yubii app: YHC 1.23.0 and YH 2.5.0. Both updates introduce a number of important changes that improve data security, ease of use, and compatibility with new devices. Check out what’s new!
Cybersecurity in compliance with RED and NIS2 directives
To ensure user safety, the applications have been adapted to support secure HTTPS connections on the local network when the gateway has been properly configured to operate in this mode.
Password requirements have also changed:
• The minimum password length has been increased from 10 to 12 characters.
Widgets in iOS even more accessible (YHC 1.23.0)
iOS users can now use new widgets:
• For temperature zones
• For scenes
As of version 1.23 of the Yubii Home Center app, widgets are available by default and do not require activation in the app settings.
The “Demo” mode has been removed from the app.
Visual changes and a better interface
Improved UI/UX in both versions of the app:
• New icons for vertical blinds and curtains
• SVG icon support in device settings
Additionally, in version YH 2.5.0:
• Users can now add new devices directly within the context of a selected room
• The user (user/advanced user) can independently delete their local account on the gateway

The new app versions provide full support for additional devices:
• YHC 1.23.0: Venture Fun, On/Off-Control2
• YH 2.5.0: Nice Intercom (enabled for use in multi-apartment buildings)
Stability first
Both updates also include many minor fixes and improvements that positively impact the performance and stability of the application.
