Warsaw, 29th October 2019 – Supervisory Board of Fibar Group S.A. appointed Adam Krużyński, a current member of the management board, as the company’s President. He replaced Maciej Fiedler – the founder and longtime President of FIBARO. Michał Rodziewicz, the current Vice President responsible for sales is also leaving the company. His duties will also be taken over by Adam Krużyński.

Besides being new President of FIBARO, Adam Krużyński will also manage Nice Poland. Entrusting two key positions to one person is an expression of trust and appreciation of his contribution to the development of both companies. Adam Krużyński has been associated with the Nice group for nearly 20 years. Nice took over 100 percent of FIBARO shares last year. Poland is one of the three key markets for the Nice group: Poles are the largest team among all employed in international structures of the group and for almost 20 years, the Polish branch of Nice has been among the best in the Group, both in terms of development dynamics and the amount of highly qualified employees. Krużyński, as the Chief Sales Officer of the Nice Group, which he has been since March 2018, supervised the sales realized by the Group on over 100 markets and in 24 branches located all around the world. He was in the committee for the acquisition of FIBARO and joined the company’s management board in July 2018.

– The appointment to the position of the President is both a great honour and a big responsibility for me. I’m grateful for the trust placed in me by the authorities of both companies. In my new role, I will make good use of the international experience and knowledge of the industry that I have gained over the years. The Polish market has a special place in the Nice group. I am convinced that the synergies obtained will allow us to grow even faster and deliver excellent customer experience.

– said Adam Krużyński, President of FIBARO and Nice Poland CEO.

The changes in the management structures of both companies are to integrate their functioning to a greater extent within the Nice group. The main goal will be to work out the new strategic and operational solutions for both companies to strengthen their market power. Within this frame, the Nice group will boost synergies for technological innovation between Nice and FIBARO brands and product solutions for the smart home and home security, together with the integration in the Home Automation, featuring an extraordinary technological know-how of more than 60 engineers in Poland who will collaborate with Group Development Centers based in Italy and across United States.

Transaction that took place last year, allowed faster development of the FIBARO smart home system and other IoT solutions that FIBARO R&D departments in Poznań and Zielona Góra and Nice in Oderzo (Italy) are working on. Nice, as one of the most significant players in the Home Automation sector, is planning further investments that will allow the FIBARO brand to develop while using all the resources of the Nice group and continue its expansion on global markets.

Adam Krużyński – biographic note

Adam

For those 20 years that Adam has been associated with the Nice group, he worked successively as the Regional Manager, Commercial Director, and since 2004 – Managing Director. Under his leadership, Nice Poland has become a sales leader in the home automation industry. The period when he managed the company was a time of stable, double-digit sales growth and the moment of launching many new projects in the field of sales network professionalization and implementation of new complementary products to the company’s offer.

Since March 2018, as the Chief Sales Officer of the Nice Group, he oversaw the sales delivered by the Group on over 100 markets and in 24 branches located around the world. The revenues of the Nice group after the first year in which Adam Krużyński managed its sales reached EUR 368.2 million, compared with EUR 325.0 million in 2017.

Achieving such excellent results was possible due to the Group’s active development strategy and entering new markets (in 2018, the Nice group acquired 5 companies: Linear Equipamentos, Abode Systems, V2, ACM and FIBARO). The consolidation processes carried out professionally, along with the sales successes of the team managed by Adam Krużyński, resulted in the stable and robust position of the Nice group, which is currently one of the world leaders in the Home Automation market.
