FIBARO has released the FIBARO Installer App – the market’s very first app that allows professional and certified installers to remotely service and maintain the company’s smart home system. This is a huge step forward in making FIBARO’s system easier to service and more user–friendly; a convenience that will benefit both installers and end users.

The FIBARO Installer App was developed to address the needs of FIBARO system’s users and installers. The app allows remote monitoring and maintenance of FIBARO’s smart home system without the need to schedule an in-house service appointment.

Due to the app being available in three languages (Polish, English and German), any installation and maintenance problems can be fixed quickly and effectively. From now on, monitoring services and system malfunction notifications will be sent out without users having to leave their homes or set an appointment. Meanwhile, certified installers won’t be required to report the system’s malfunctions via FIBARO’s Service Desk, thus reducing the time needed to fix any system issues. The FIBARO Installer App is also a very useful tool for FIBARO smart home system users. The app will prevent any potential malfunctions as soon as a threat is detected – even prior to a user reporting a problem.

Installer App

Only certified installers who have passed a special training course and have been issued a FIBARO ID will have guaranteed access to the app. Compared to previously used tools, the FIBARO Installer App offers two levels of safe access – it allows certified installers to monitor the system and conduct basic maintenance, but also provides remote access to the FIBARO central unit for a limited amount of time (up to 24 hours); access which can be revoked by the user at any time.

FIBARO will continue to work on improving and adding new features to the app to make it an even better tool for both installers and end users. The FIBARO Installer App is currently available on Google Play, the App Store and via the company’s website.
